What CF-cards can I use with the VP4.

Unfortunately, we are not able to test each and every CF-card that is available market nowadays, but we will try to keep track of cards that can be used or that do not work properly with the Vitaport 4 system.

Until this moment, following cards are tested with the Vitaport 4 systems:

FUNCTIONALITY: 100%, very reliable.

ATTENTION: 
MUST be 30MB/s, slower versions will not work reliable!

FUNCTIONALITY: 100%.

FUNCTIONALITY: Write timing problems causing recorder malfunctioning.

FUNCTIONALITY: Write timing problems causing recorder malfunctioning. Too slow (15MB/s). Check for 30MB/s version at top of this list)

EMTEC Professional Compactflash Card 4GB

FUNCTIONALITY: Functions OK, but has very high Power Consumption, causing the Vitaport 4 to record about 20% less long.

ADVISE: DO NOT USE!

 

HAMA highspeed Compactflash Card 2GB

FUNCTIONALITY: Functions OK, but has very high Power Consumption, causing the Vitaport 4 to record about 20% less long.

ADVISE: DO NOT USE!
