What type and brand of CF-cards can I use?

The Vitaport 4 is not very critical with regards to the brand of CF-card that is used. A faster CF-card will result in a slightly lower powerconsumption and thus in a longer recording time.
We recommend that you use cards which have at least a writing speed of 1,5MBytes/sec. Following cards have been tested and work properly:

  • Kingston Compactflash standard, f/i CF/1Gb
  • Sandisk Ultra II Compactflash
  • Transcend CF card Ultra 120x (tested 8Gb, type TS8GCF120)
  • PQI Hi-Speed
