It is small, lightweight, ergonomically shaped and it records high quality EEG (or EOG, EMG , ECG) signals without compromise. Our 25 channel ambulatory EEG recorder offers the most convenient way available today for you and your patient to obtain reliable data, over 24, 48 hours or more, at home or ambulatory.

The recorder first of all records up to 24 channels of referential EEG for diagnosis or confirmation of epilepsy in out-door patients. Attachable external battery packs provide you with a significant opportunity to offer more comprehensive services as you may extend and hot-swap the recording over several days. The 24 EEG channels are completed by 1 differential ECG-channel.
Optionally you may connect an SpO2/Pulse wave device to rule out OSA.

With our recorder you get a high quality and versatile neurological instrument. The amplifiers aboard are designed to couple minimal noise (< 0.5 uV RMS) and an amazing >120dB 50/60 Hz humble rejection to wide bandwidth (0.1 - 60 Hz) and dynamic range, digitized with 16-bit resolution. An internal impedance measurement check is included. This all is mandatory to enable noise-free capture of EEG level signals and to cope with demands of ambulatory and in-home recording.

Recording on the Vitaport 4 can be initiated directly from the recorder, or the physiological signals can be viewed prior to acquisition through the supplied VP4control software. The choice is yours.

Analysis
The recorder writes onto compact flash card directly in EDF format. The data is automatically divided in 24 hours files by the recorder. This makes is extremely easy to use your own, third party, EEG reader software for analysis.
Using software with automatic spike and seizure detection (i.e. Persyst Reveal, Stellate Harmonie-E) makes the analysis of long term EEG recordings flexible and faster.
