This firmware is valid for the following recorders: 

• Vitaport 4 PSG recorder 
• Vitaport 4 EEG25 recorder 
• Vitaport 4 ESIS recorder 
• Vitaport 4 CPS recorder 

Check with your VP4control software for your FW version (in left side of your main screen). Upgrade your firmware when it is older that the version here available and when you experience problems. Always use the latest VP4control for following procedure!

To upgrade the recorder firmware: 

1. Unzip the file and write the *.ifs file (firmware) on the CF-card. Make sure that the file is written adequately to the card before removing it from the PC!!!! Do not remove the card from the PC slot before the file is written. 
2. Place the card into the VP4 recorder. 
3. Connect the recorder to the PC and start the recorder. 
4. Start the VP4control software. 
5. Connect to the recorder. 
6. Select TOOLS | Program firmware. 
7. Follow the instructions. 

Please make sure that the recorder has enough power before programming.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

After a firmware upgrade the channel labels and/or sampling rates may be altered by default. This to provide better performance specifications and/or better compatibility with newer EDF standards. Always check your settings in the Montage editor after a firmware upgrade and check for compatibility with your analysis system.
